My Art classes begin with the basic educational training needed for all artists to establish a solid foundation for all of the disciplines in the visual arts.  I cover the artistic elements of line, shape, space, value, texture, color, etc.  Students then move forward with instruction in the Principles of  Art. I begin with the medium of graphite (pencil), then move students into charcoal, pastel, colored pencil, watercolor and other painting mediums.  I believe a classical, theoretical infastructure instills an understanding that will last a lifetime, as well as one that can be fostered well into the future.
