My Art classes begin with the basic educational training needed for all artists to establish a solid foundation for all of the disciplines in the Visual Arts.  I cover the artistic elements of line, shape, space, value, texture, color, etc. Students will then move forward with study of the principles of Art.  I begin with the medium of graphite (pencil), then into the mediums of charcoal, pastel, colored pencil and watercolor, in addition to other painting mediums.  I believe a classical, theoretical infrastructure instills an understanding of the visual Arts that will last a lifetime, as well as one that can be fostered well into the future.
